In accordance with the spirit of the notice from the National Energy Administration, Shanxi Electric Power Company plans to invest 1.75 billion yuan in the rural power grid renovation project in 2013 (350 million yuan in the central budget and 1.4 billion yuan in bank loans) to build and renovate 4 110 kV substations and lines 57.7 kilometers; 30 35kV substations with 299.9 kilometers of lines; 10kV lines with 2,280.68 kilometers, 3700 distribution transformers, and 3,395.85 kilometers of low-voltage lines. There are a total of 102 engineering projects, involving 98 counties (cities, districts) in rural power grid areas within the jurisdiction of Shanxi Electric Power Company.
